Create cargo profiles
The Smart Add Cargo feature uses predefined cargo profiles to speed up the process of building shipping schedules based on the latest inventory plan. To get started, you need to create your own profiles by clicking the + sign at the bottom of the screen in the Cargo Monitor. Enter information about the load- and discharge rate, cargo quantity, number of laydays and sailing time, and you are ready to start using the profile.
When you have created your profiles, you can start adding cargoes with a single click.
The link between the new Inventory Manager and live cargo schedule enable users to save time through automation of many inventory-related tasks such as month end inventory calculations, forecasting and monitoring. One example of this is the ability to add planned shipments in the Inventory Manager view. Identify a point in the future (white line) where you would like to plan a shipment, hover over the line and click on the ‘+’ sign.
This new “visual” way of planning in combination with the profiles enables user to build preliminary shipping schedules with a single click.
The Inventory Dashboard allows users to see the real-time inventory position across all terminals and commodities at a glance. To get access, click “see overview” under inventory settings in the Inventory Manager.
