CargoValue is about to get even smarter through its new interface
Technology is making it possible to exploit the finite moments when companies need to make the right decisions. With CargoValue’s increasing user base, customer feedback is crucial towards scoping and developing new modules that empower companies to identify these value creation opportunities.
As of May 2019, we are pleased to announce the following new functionality to CargoValue that makes it even easier to gain that ‘Big Picture’ overview and maintain the highest level of visibility into raw material flows.
Shipment Timeline
With improved scheduling functionality, ongoing and planned shipments can now also be viewed as a timeline of events by terminal and commodity. The Gantt chart effect offers immediate foresight into raw material flows and makes it even easier to identify potential clashes caused by delays or sub-optimal planning, which may result in costly re-adjustments later.
Yearly Overview Graphs
CargoValue’s yearly overview now allows companies to view complete inventories by terminal for all commodities. Grouping all commodities into one view allows companies to compare all inbound materials and easily identify any potential clashes and high or low stock situations as a result of sub-optimal planning, delays or unplanned raw material consumption.
User friendly experience
Increasing supply chain visibility offers significant value creation opportunities, but it should not be done so at the expense of time. Therefore, CargoValue is continuously developed with the end user in mind, we empower companies to optimize their supply chain and do so with a great attention to detail on user interactivity to ensure all updates improve the overall experience.
